This policy explains what personal data AcreIQ collects, why, how long we keep it, and your rights under UK GDPR. If you have questions, email admin@acreiq.co.uk.

1. Who we are

AcreIQ Ltd (Company No. 17196366) is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. We are a UK-registered company providing planning gain research services to landowners, developers, and planning professionals.

Contact: admin@acreiq.co.uk

2. What data we collect and why

We collect personal data in one way: through the contact form on this website.

When you submit the contact form, we collect:

Legal basis: Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR) — responding to a pre-contractual enquiry you have initiated.

We do not use cookies, analytics scripts, or tracking pixels on this website. We do not collect data passively.

3. How we use your data

We use contact form data solely to respond to your enquiry and, if you become a client, to fulfil your research report. We do not add you to any mailing list, sell your data, or use it for marketing without your explicit consent.

4. Who we share your data with

Your form submission is processed by Formspree Inc. (formspree.io), a US-based form handling service. Formspree acts as a data processor on our behalf under a data processing agreement. Data is transferred to the US under standard contractual clauses. Formspree's privacy policy is at formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy.

We do not share your personal data with any other third parties unless required by law.

5. How long we keep your data

Enquiry emails are retained in our inbox for up to 24 months. If you become a client, we retain relevant correspondence for 6 years (standard UK business records requirement). You may request deletion at any time — see Section 7.

6. Data about third parties in our database

AcreIQ's analytical database contains only open government datasets (Land Registry Price Paid, EPC ratings, ONS statistics, and similar). These datasets contain no identifiable personal data in the form we use them — transactions are used in aggregate and no individual is identified in any report we produce.

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

To exercise any right, email admin@acreiq.co.uk. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Complaints

If you believe we have handled your data unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services develop. Material changes will be noted with an updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of the website after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
